Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to cultivate a high-performing team
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to ensure product availability and visual appeal
- Manage sales transactions with accuracy using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cash handling procedures efficiently
- Implement sales strategies, promotional activities, and pricing adjustments to meet sales targets
- Conduct employee orientation, coaching sessions, and ongoing training to enhance team skills and customer service quality
- Monitor store operations including budgeting, payroll processing, and bookkeeping to maintain financial health
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven supervisory experience in retail or similar environments
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual capabilities are highly valued
- Proficiency in negotiation, purchasing, inventory control, and retail math for effective store management
- Skilled in employee orientation, interviewing candidates, and training & development initiatives
- Sound knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales techniques
- Experience in merchandising, marketing strategies, stock management, and store organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage shift schedules, budgeting processes, and time management effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping and administrative tasks
