Management Analyst – Budget, Finance & Strategic Operations

What You'll Do
- Analyze operating and capital budgets, financial performance, and spending trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop financial forecasts, variance analyses, dashboards, and executive-level reports.
- Track and reconcile departmental budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate business operations, organizational processes, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate contract administration activities, monitor vendor compliance, and support procurement initiatives.
- Research, prepare, and manage grant opportunities, applications, compliance reporting, and funding utilization.
- Conduct business process analysis and recommend operational improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Perform statistical and financial analysis using large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects involving finance, operations, compliance, and organizational planning.
- Prepare executive presentations and communicate findings, recommendations, and business insights to stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory reporting requirements and ensure timely compliance.
- Collaborate across multiple departments to improve organizational effectiveness and support strategic initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Budget planning and financial analysis
- Business or management analysis
- Project coordination
- Financial reporting
- Procurement or contract administration
- Grants administration
- Experience creating financial forecasts, variance reports, and executive presentations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience interpreting complex financial and operational data to support business decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
