What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Cornerstone Structural Repair and Waterproofing?
We are seeking Team Leads, Intermediate, and Entry Level General Laborers to assist with structural repair, waterproofing, and egress window installation for residential repair projects. Candidates will work under a Team Lead in a collaborative environment and are expected to maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliable transportation while performing physically demanding tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate jackhammer and remove debris
- Install waterproofing and pressure relief pump systems
- Repair foundation cracks and install structural beams
- Excavate and backfill trenches for foundation footing, piers, wall anchors, and egress windows
- Gather, load, unload, and store tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain site cleanliness and organize equipment at the end of each day
- Collaborate effectively with team members under the Team Lead’s supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in general labor
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in jackhammer operation and excavation techniques
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems and safety compliance
- Physical stamina and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
