COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18–$23 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Role Impact
The Shipping Clerk ensures accurate, secure, and on-time shipment of products to meet customer and operational expectations. This role supports inventory accuracy, fulfillment quality, and carrier coordination for both domestic and international orders. Success is measured by shipment accuracy, documentation compliance, and timely carrier dispatch.
Key Duties
• Pull materials using customer pick lists from finished goods and raw materials inventory
• Perform functional product testing and configure settings per customer request
• Package products to prevent damage using appropriate containers and protective materials
• Schedule carrier pickups (UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other freight providers)
• Prepare shipping labels and complete required domestic and international documentation
• Maintain accurate shipping records and organized inventory staging areas
• Provide customer service support to internal teams and external carrier contacts
Minimum Qualifications
• 3–5 years of recent warehouse shipping and fulfillment experience
• Experience using UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipping software systems
• Ability to follow detailed shipping documentation and compliance procedures
Equipment & Work Environment
• Regular standing, walking, and handling of inventory
• Lifting and organizing materials within a warehouse setting
• Exposure to standard warehouse conditions
• Use of computer terminals for data entry and shipment processing
• Operation of shipping platforms and label printers
Preferred Skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with both domestic and international shipping logistics
