PHARMACY ASSISTANT – SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT
LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18.50/hour
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; occasional Saturday rotation, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, with Tuesday–Saturday scheduling as needed
• First-week core training: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Contractor assignment
ROLE IMPACT
Support pharmacy fulfillment operations by accurately packing and shipping medications, supplies, and patient information. This role helps ensure orders are prepared securely, shipping details are accurate, and the fulfillment area remains organized and ready for daily operations. Success requires attention to detail, reliable onsite attendance, and the ability to perform physical work throughout the shift.
KEY DUTIES
• Prepare medications and supplies for shipment while maintaining product integrity, sterility, and stability and following required checklists.
• Review shipping manifests, delivery addresses, and delivery times; work with the pharmacy team to resolve order questions or revise shipping details.
• Reconcile packing slips and carrier invoices, maintain shipping records and usage reports, and restock medications, shipping supplies, ice packs, and coolers.
• Maintain clean, orderly packing and storage areas, including disinfecting countertops, vacuuming, handling trash and cardboard, and resetting the shipping room for the next business day.
• Secure pharmacy, storage, study drug, and packing areas at the end of the business day and perform other assigned fulfillment duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Shipping, packing, and dock work experience required.
• Reliable transportation for onsite work five days per week; ability to stand and perform physical work for 8 hours per day and lift, move, and manipulate boxes and packages weighing approximately 25 pounds.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Onsite pharmacy fulfillment, packing, shipping, dock, and storage environment.
• Ability to work on your feet for approximately 95% of the day.
• Frequent standing, walking, packing, restocking, cleaning, and material handling.
• Fundamental computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• One year of mail service or specialty pharmacy dispensing experience.
• Inventory management experience with strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, collaborate effectively, perform under pressure, and support continuous improvement.
