COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $20.00/hour

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with one-hour lunch

• W2 Employment

ROLE IMPACT:

The Meter Reader Validation Specialist helps ensure the accuracy and integrity of utility billing data by reviewing meter reads, validating consumption information, and maintaining critical meter exchange records. Success in this role is measured by accurate data validation, timely issue resolution, and reliable operational reporting that supports billing, inventory management, and field operations.

• Review and validate meter reads within Temetra to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Identify abnormal consumption patterns, read exceptions, and authorized read discrepancies

• Research account history and consumption trends to support validation decisions

• Return questionable reads for field verification and document findings, corrections, and escalations

• Maintain meter exchange records, support inventory reconciliation, and provide operational reporting

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and spreadsheets

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines

• Knowledge of meter reading operations, meter exchange processes, and data validation practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Temetra and UMAX systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent documentation, organization, and follow-through skills
