Escrow Coordinator
Location: Houston, TX 77042 | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule

Role Impact: The Escrow Coordinator supports the full home closing lifecycle for a regional homebuilding division. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely loan progression, and seamless coordination between Sales, Construction, Lenders, Title Companies, and Mortgage teams. Success is defined by on-time closings, compliant escrow files, and a high-quality customer experience for homebuyers.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule and coordinate home closings with buyers, lenders, title companies, sales, and construction teams
• Prepare, review, and distribute closing documents including projected completion letters, escrow files, amendment packages, and final closing statements (HUD/settlement statements)
• Monitor loan progress reports and follow up with buyers to ensure contract and financing requirements are met
• Identify and resolve escrow or closing discrepancies; escalate concerns to leadership as needed
• Maintain organized open and closed escrow files in compliance with company and audit standards
• Process customer deposits, review purchase agreements for accuracy, and generate sales and closing reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Maintain accurate records within CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, EnterpriseOne/E1, PeopleSoft or similar)
• Respond to inquiries from buyers and internal departments while providing professional, customer-focused communication
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma required; college coursework preferred
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience coordinating residential real estate closings, escrow processing, or mortgage closing transactions
• Proven experience reviewing purchase agreements, settlement statements (HUD/CD), and managing loan status through closing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM/ERP systems used for escrow tracking
