Accounts Receivable Specialist I
Location Carrollton, TX | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
Pay : $18.17/hr
Shift : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Length : Approximately 4 months
ROLE IMPACT
The AR Specialist I plays a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy through payment application, billing reconciliation, and dispute resolution. This position supports client satisfaction and internal reporting by ensuring AR functions are performed efficiently and thoroughly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform customer payment analysis and reconcile accounts for B2B and B2G transactions
- Address payment discrepancies by initiating and tracking dispute resolutions
- Collaborate with internal departments and customers to resolve billing and return issues
- Assist in generating AR-related reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Support new team members through training and systems guidance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of accounts receivable or collections experience
- 3 years in B2B or B2G payment reconciliation and dispute management
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, math, and reconciliation capabilities
