This is an excellent opportunity for Radiologic Technologists seeking flexible per diem work with day, evening, night, and weekend shifts available.
Position Details
- Position: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT)
- Location: VA San Diego Healthcare System
- Schedule: Per Diem – Days 8am -4:30pm , Evenings 3:30-Mid , Nights Mid-8am & Weekends
- Pay Rate: $64/hr, $523/8hrs

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required for Federal Employment (VA) positions.
- Minimum of two (2) years of current, consecutive Diagnostic Radiologic Technology experience; hospital experience preferred.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (R) certification
- Current California Fluoroscopy Permit required
- Current, Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
- Experience operating C-Arm equipment in a clinical or surgical setting.
- Demonstrated experience performing fluoroscopy procedures and assisting physicians during image-guided interventions.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience using PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to caring for Veteran patients.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after December 31, 1959.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and move patients, equipment, and supplies in accordance with safe patient handling guidelines.
