Compensation & Schedule
• $20–$22/hour
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour meal break)

ROLE IMPACT
This position supports the Revenue Cycle division by driving accurate billing, timely collections, and account reconciliation. Your work directly improves reimbursement speed, patient satisfaction, and compliance with payer and hospital requirements. Success is measured by meeting performance targets and delivering high-quality service to patients, payers, and internal teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform end-to-end medical billing, collections, and account management to ensure accurate reimbursements.
• Investigate and resolve claim denials and rejections per Medicare, Medicaid, and payer guidelines.
• Communicate with patients, insurance providers, and third-party agencies regarding account statuses and payment issues.
• Accurately record account activities, reconcile balances, and monitor payment trends to prevent delays.
• Support billing for inpatient and outpatient services using UB-04 and HCFA 1500 forms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of healthcare revenue cycle, hospital billing, or collections experience (minimum 1–3 years for medical billing).
• Knowledge of UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms and Medicare/Medicaid billing requirements.
• Stable work history with at least 1 year in all previous roles.
• Must reside within 30 miles of San Antonio, TX 78229 for remote coordination
