• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

ROLE IMPACT

As a Medical Billing and Collections Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health of a multi-facility healthcare organization. Your primary responsibilities will center around ensuring timely account resolution, accurate billing and collections, and reconciliation of payments. Success in this role is measured by your ability to meet productivity standards, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute billing and collections tasks to resolve outstanding claims and balances

• Work payer rejections and claim edits, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up

• Retrieve, post, and reconcile payments to ensure deposit accuracy

• Respond to account inquiries from patients and payors via multiple channels

• Communicate billing and reimbursement trends to leadership

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of healthcare revenue cycle/hospital billing and collections experience

• Familiarity with UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Reside within a 30-mile radius of Irving, TX

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding

• UB-04 and HCFA 1500 claim forms

• Electronic claim editing and billing platforms

• Collections workflow systems

• Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Post-secondary education or healthcare billing certification

• Experience reconciling cash corrections and resolving unapplied payments

• Knowledge of payer-specific denial and reimbursement protocols
