Position Overview
Cornerstone is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), 4th Intelligence Analysis Squadron (4 IAS), Non-Earth Imagery (NEI) Flight. Personnel supporting this effort will provide cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF), vulnerability management, authorization and accreditation, and continuous monitoring support for highly classified intelligence systems and Special Access Program (SAP) networks supporting national security missions.
The selected candidate will work closely with system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, engineers, intelligence analysts, mission operators, and Government security officials to maintain the security, accreditation, and operational availability of mission-critical classified information systems supporting space intelligence operations.
Responsibilities
$140,000
The salary listed represents the anticipated starting salary range for qualified candidates. Higher compensation may be offered based on directly relevant experience, mission expertise, technical qualifications, certifications, education, and clearance level.

Responsibilities
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation, sustainment, and continuous monitoring activities.
- Maintain authorization and accreditation documentation, security artifacts, and cybersecurity packages supporting classified systems.
- Support implementation, validation, and assessment of security controls in accordance with RMF, JSIG, DoD, and Intelligence Community requirements.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, compliance reviews, and cybersecurity reporting activities.
- Manage and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) documentation and associated mitigation efforts.
- Support system security audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and Government cybersecurity assessments.
- Review hardware, software, and configuration changes to assess cybersecurity impacts and support configuration management processes.
- Assist with incident response, cybersecurity investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Support cybersecurity compliance activities associated with classified mission systems, special access program networks, and intelligence operations.
- Coordinate with Government cybersecurity stakeholders, Information System Owners (ISOs), Authorizing Officials (AOs), Information System Security Managers (ISSMs), and technical personnel to maintain operational accreditation and mission readiness.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- SAP eligibility.
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, information technology, network security, RMF, or Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) functions.
- Experience supporting classified information systems and secure network environments.
- Experience supporting RMF implementation and authorization activities.
- Experience supporting vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, and cybersecurity documentation.
- DoD 8140/8570 compliant certification such as Security , CISSP, CASP , GSLC, or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting NASIC, NSIC, NGA, NRO, DIA, USSF, or other Intelligence Community organizations.
- Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) information systems and networks.
- Experience implementing Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) requirements.
- Experience utilizing eMASS, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, or similar cybersecurity management and assessment tools.
- Experience supporting continuous monitoring programs and cybersecurity inspections.
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux classified environments.
- Experience supporting intelligence mission systems, space intelligence operations, or highly classified analytical environments.
- CISSP certification preferred.
