Responsibilities
- Trim and prune palm trees safely and professionally
- Remove dead fronds, seed pods, and palm debris
- Climb palms using proper climbing equipment and techniques
- Operate chainsaws, pole saws, and other tree service equipment
- Follow all safety guidelines while working at heights
- Clean up and haul away debris after each job
- Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude
Qualifications
- Previous palm tree trimming experience required
- Comfortable climbing and working at heights
- Experience using climbing gear, ropes, saddles, and safety equipment
- Knowledge of proper palm trimming techniques
- Ability to safely operate chainsaws and other power equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in Florida's heat and weather conditions
