What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator position at Cornerstone Private Practice?
**Please note: Candidate must be willing and able to travel to both of our offices - Harbour View, Suffolk & West Ghent/Chelsea, Norfolk.**
Patient Care Coordinator
Cornerstone Private Practice isn't your typical doctor’s office. We provide concierge, relationship-based care, which means we prioritize quality over volume and treat our patients like people, not chart numbers.
We have a rare opening for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator - a position that is at the "heart" of our front office. Since you’re usually the first person our patients talk to, we’re looking for someone who is naturally warm, exceptionally organized, and genuinely enjoys building rapport.
The Day-to-Day
- The First Impression: You’ll be the welcoming face and voice of our practice—handling phones, messages, and check-ins with a warm and professional touch.
- The Logistics: You’ll manage real-time scheduling, keep our EHR updated, and make sure clinical communication stays seamless.
- The Glue: You’ll support our doctors and staff with administrative tasks (communication, coordination, and tracking down relevant records) to keep the office humming.
What We’re Looking For
- A "People Person": You have a polished demeanor and can handle being busy without losing your cool or your kindness.
- Sharp Skills: You’re comfortable with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and have some experience with Electronic Health Records.
- Reliability: You have 2 years of office experience, are reliable, and have a "can do" attitude.
The Logistics
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (8:00–5:00 or 7:00–4:00).
- Location: Important! You must be able to work at both of our offices: Harbour View (Suffolk) and West Ghent/Chelsea (Norfolk)
Ready to do healthcare differently? If you love helping people, and are dedicated to providing a superior patient experience, we would love to hear from you.
