Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including trimming, digging, planting, and installing landscape features
- Support construction projects by helping with the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Perform lawn care activities including aeration, fertilization, and snow plowing during seasonal changes
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and making necessary adjustments to ensure proper watering
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming or pruning to promote healthy growth and safety
- Assist with general site cleanup and maintenance to ensure job sites are safe and organized at all times
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as excavators, lawn mowers, and power tools
- Experience with landscape maintenance practices including gardening, tree care, and hardscape installation
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques like mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and snow plowing
