Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MySQL Database Administrator to provide expert-level support in administering and engineering robust solutions using Oracle MySQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design, performance tuning, and migration, and must be able to operate independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
Skills:
- 10 years' experience administering to, and engineering solutions with, Oracle MySQL.
- Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
- Installing and configuring new MySQL servers (5.x and 8.x)
- Design and development of MySQL stored procedures.
- Upgrading MySQL databases, both major and minor revisions
- Administering MySQL account access, backups and table spaces
- Migrating MySQL databases
- Monitoring MySQL server performance
- BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent years’ experience.
- Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
- Must be COMPTIA Security Plus certified
Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
