What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPR Trainer position at Cornerstone Caregiving?
We are seeking a qualified and engaging CPR Trainer to join our caregiving team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality CPR training to our caregiving staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and preparedness for emergency situations.
We're looking for someone willing to commit to hosting weekly classes that are in accordance with Florida Administrative Code and licensing requirements. Classes will be in person and 2 hours long to ensure training meets standards from approved CPR providers.

Florida Compliance Requirements (Essential):
- Ability to issue valid CPR certification cards from an approved training organization
- Understanding that CPR certification must be current and documented in employee files
- Familiarity with requirement that direct care staff obtain CPR certification within required onboarding periods and maintain it continuously
- Knowledge that caregiving facilities must have CPR-certified personnel available onsite at all times
Qualifications and Skills
- Current CPR/AED Instructor certification from a Florida-accepted provider
- Caregiving experience preferred but not required
