Duties
- Lead small group strength training classes that incorporate principles of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to maximize results and safety
- Design customized workout programs tailored to diverse fitness levels and goals, ensuring progressive challenges for all participants
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide clear instructions to promote correct form and prevent injuries
- Motivate and encourage participants throughout sessions to maintain high energy levels and achieve personal bests
- Maintain a clean, organized workout environment in compliance with health club standards
Experience
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction or personal training within a gym or health club setting
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and how muscles function during strength exercises
- Ability to teach physical education principles with clarity and enthusiasm
- Experience in program design tailored for small groups with varying fitness levels
- Background in sports coaching or fitness sales is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse audiences
- Certifications in group fitness instruction, personal training, or related fields are highly preferred
