Who we are looking for:
Cornerstone Home Lending is seeking an Underwriting Loan Standards Administrator to join our team! This individual will be a part of a team that ensures our internal seller guide knows as "Loan Standards" is accurate, consistent and clearly communicated. They will also provide smooth experience for Production by being consistent with guidance provided, using familiar formatting and the functionality being seamless!
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure guidance managed within "Loan Standards" is accurate and clearly communicated
- Provide a smooth experience for Production by being consistent with guidance provided, formatting is familiar and functionality is seamless.
- Perform vital maintenance tasks designed to meet the primary goals of the Loan Standards team
- Perform a twice-monthly publish of all the impactful changes to Loan Standards guidance, known as the "30 Days changes publish."
- Other duties assigned by leadership
What you'll need to be successful:
- HS Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Previous Underwriting experience a plus
- 5 years' experience in Residential Mortgage Originations with proficient knowledge of agency guidelines (Fannie, Freddie, FHA, VA, USDA)
- Technologically savvy, with the ability to work in varied systems
- High attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent client service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Critical thinking ability, diplomacy and professionalism
