Line Cook/Prep Cook

FULL-TIME PREP COOK / LINE COOK

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team.

This position will primarily focus on daily kitchen prep, with Friday and Saturday working the line for lunch/brunch service. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows recipes, stays organized, and most importantly, is a team player.

WE DON’T PAY UNDER THE TABLE.

This is an on-the-books payroll position. Applicants must be able to provide the necessary documentation for employment.

SCHEDULE

Tuesday: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
Wednesday: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
Thursday: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, portioning, and basic cooking
• Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency
• Properly operate kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, food processors, and other prep equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Follow all food handling and food safety standards
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating kitchen inventory
• Communicate and work effectively with the entire kitchen team
• Work the line for lunch/brunch service on Friday and Saturday
• Help wherever needed to keep the kitchen running efficiently

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous restaurant or professional kitchen experience preferred
• Strong basic knife skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Able to follow recipes and instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be available for the entire Tuesday–Saturday schedule listed above
