Duties

• Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately processing retail sales transactions and handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product information
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
• Maintain an organized cash drawer, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising to keep the store visually appealing and well-organized
• Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and inventory counts as needed
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating with team members

Requirements

• Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is preferred
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Proven supervising experience or ability to assist in training new team members is advantageous
• Basic math skills for accurately handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising principles
• Ability to perform cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
