What are the responsibilities and job description for the Short Order Cook position at Corner Coffee Co?
After a year of being open, our business is growing! We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Short Order Cook to join our team! If you enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.
This position is for Sundays from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and Mondays from 5:30-2:30pm.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for making the items on our breakfast and lunch menus as well as some baking for the items in our bakery case.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare made-to-order breakfast and lunch items
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards
- Work as part of a team to create a great customer experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Café or food service experience is required
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Experience with POS systems (Square is a bonus!)
- Food handler’s certification preferred (or willing to obtain after hire)
