What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant (Intake Specialist) position at Cornell Injury Law?
This Is Not Just a Job
At Cornell Injury Law, we represent people at some of the most difficult moments in their lives. They are dealing with stress, uncertainty, and often pain. When they reach out, they are not looking for a transaction. They are looking for someone who will take them seriously and guide them forward.
This role is the front door to that experience.
You will often be the first person a potential client speaks with. How you show up in that moment matters. Your ability to listen, stay organized, and follow through directly impacts whether someone chooses to trust this firm.
We hold a high standard. Not just in results, but in how we treat people and how we operate every day.
What This Role Really Is
This role is for someone who takes ownership.
You are responsible for ensuring every potential client is handled professionally, every detail is captured accurately, and every follow-up occurs without being asked.
You are not just answering calls. You are setting the tone for the client experience and protecting the firm from missed opportunities.

Why This Role Matters
