Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, performing dental hygiene procedures, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control practices.

Duties

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
• Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and record-keeping.
• Perform vital signs checks and assist in medical imaging as needed.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow for the dentist.
• Educate patients on oral health care, proper hygiene practices, and preventive measures.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient records.
• Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.

Experience
Candidates should possess:

• Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and infection control protocols.
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
