As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hardworking, dependable individual to join our Rollform Department as a Slitter Operator on 2nd Shift.
What You'll Do:
- set up, operate, or tend machines,
- cut, slit, bend, or straighten sheets of metal, paper, or other materials to specific widths.
- ensure quality, by examining various end-products and observing pre-defined tolerances.
What You'll Need:
- Ability to use precision measurement equipment such as calipers, tape measure, micrometers, etc.
- Intermediate level math, mechanical and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures.
- Ability to communicate with management and co-workers in an effective manner.
- Ability to operate assigned equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
