What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plasma Operator-2nd Shift position at CORLE BUILDING SYSTEMS?
Corle Building Systems is an IAS accredited (USA) and CSA-A660 (Canada) certified manufacturer of pre-engineered steel building systems. We design and manufacture rigid frame clear span and multiple span buildings of all sizes.
Due to continued growth, we are hiring for a Plasma Operator on 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility is to operate a computer-controlled plasma cutter.
- Clean slag from tables
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Qualified candidate will be responsible for programming the machine.
- Locating appropriate materials according to job order
- Cut parts to conform to the drawings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields is required
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must have moderate computer skills
- Basic manufacturing experience preferred, but not necessary
