Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through thorough washing and sanitizing.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing food stations and ensuring timely setup and breakdown.
- Uphold strict food handling and safety standards to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours.
- Follow cleaning schedules for kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and equipment to promote a safe workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of basic food handling procedures and safety standards.
