Responsibilities:
· Performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on process and machine equipment systems.
· Assists with proposing/implementing changes to improve process machine or equipment efficiency.
· Provides expertise/guidance for process/machine/equipment modifications, repairs, upgrades, and start-up of assigned new process/machine/equipment systems.
· Prepares and sets up machinery in support of process or equipment needs.
· Assists with developing and delivering assigned training topics within the department or elsewhere.
· Participates in design reviews and equipment specification/selection in support of PD/Engineering projects.
· Completes GMP-compliant documentation and maintenance records within an asset management system.
· HVAC Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning coils, changing filters, checking refrigerant levels, checking belts) and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, pumps, etc.
· Identifies needs for and requisitions material and services for process requirements.
· Handles off-hours call-ins and on-call support on a periodic basis.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in equipment repair, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
· High school diploma or GED.
· Craft skill certification a plus.
· Knowledge of cGMP.
· Mechanical troubleshooting of compounding, converting, or related equipment.
· Basic electrical troubleshooting skills; knowledge of VFD and PLC systems.
· HVAC Maintenance and Repair experience.
· Analytical and problem resolution ability.
· Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
· Demonstrated track record of accurate documentation practices.
· Computer and data analysis skills.
· Strong team player.
· Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work 2pm -10pm for 2nd shift or 10pm – 6am for 3rd shift.
