What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Associate position at Corin Group?
The key purpose of the Receiving Associate is to coordinate the efficient receipt, storage, movement to quality, and distribution of all materials delivered into Corin’s Distribution Center in Raynham, MA. The key results are:
- Prompt receipt and processing of all incoming packages
- Updating and maintaining SAGE (ERP system) where all transactions are tracked
- Clear and tidy workspace
The key responsibilities as a Receiving Associate are:
- The receipt and processing of all deliveries including booking onto SAGE stock system
- To ensure stock accuracy on all stock control software
- To ensure good housekeeping of work area
- To support distribution and loaner as requested
- To support in all other goods Inwards tasks and functions as and when required to include:
➢ Receipt, inspection, and appropriate storage of all medical device final packaging material
➢ RMA Processing
➢ Expired return processing
➢ Production material paperwork preparation and issuing to shop floor
- Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s
ISO13485 QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820.
- Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions
(CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA.
Experience needed for Receiving Associate:
- Worked in a Warehouse environment
- Good manufacturing practice experience preferred
- Strong computer skills: Excel experience required; ERP experience strongly preferred
- Previous knowledge of Sage very helpful
- Ability to work as part of a team but take ownership of individual tasks
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Computer literacy - can send professional emails, basic excel skills and read key documentation
- A can do attitude - if you are keen, motivated, reliable and not afraid to work hard
- Warehouse, distribution or logistics experience would be an advantage but the above is more important to us.
- Ideally previous experience within a managerial or leadership role.
- Medical device industry experience would be an advantage
- Demonstrated abilities to work under time sensitive conditions
- Willing and able to lift objects up to 25lbs
