This position will play a pivotal role in implementing our enterprise trading platform, Vestmark, and building out the necessary technology systems and workflows to support it. The role also focuses on connecting Client Operations and Trading with the Data team - ensuring implemented solutions are optimized for business needs and client outcomes; data flow occurs on time and without error; and systems are in place to validate, reconcile, and identify any issues. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency, integrating advanced trading systems, and ensuring seamless collaboration across technical and non-technical teams and managing vendor relationships.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Execution
Lead program management for the implementation of strategic initiatives within the trading organization
Maintain alignment with the broader mission across stakeholders impacted by trading.
Onboard offices onto the central trading platform, increasing integration and adoption.
Participate in discovery discussions with trading leadership in order to translate office needs into requirements for Vestmark as part of onboarding (e.g., new custodian integrations, new product build, etc.)
Data Flows, Conversions, and Quality
Liaise with Data Operations team to ensure Data Quality is monitored sufficiently, issues are remediated promptly, and trade errors as a result of data quality are avoided.
Coordinate with Data Operations team to ensure data is converted from legacy systems and uploaded to new Corient systems appropriately – providing necessary business context and managing timelines.
Collaborate with Data Engineering team to build robust integrations across our tech stack to facilitate critical trading workflows / activities; evaluate and execute against opportunities to improve integrations over time (e.g., shift from SFTP to APIs).
Technology & Workflow Integration
Implement and optimize trading platforms and related technologies.
Partner with trading leadership and teams to design workflows to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability.
Business Alignment
Translate evolving business requirements into actionable technology and operational solutions.
Lead / coordinate launch of trading related workflows to broader business (both for initial onboarding to Vestmark and for subsequent improvements).
Monitor industry trends and recommend enhancements to maintain competitive advantage.
Support market data requirements that inform best-in-class trade execution and enhance business intelligence for capital markets.
Vendor & Partner Management
Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
Evaluate vendors and tools for both functional and strategic fit with a focus on cost-effectiveness as business needs evolve.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define requirements and execution plans.
Build trust and foster engagement to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
Champion change management initiatives and coach teams through transitions.
Operational Excellence and Resilience
Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency, automation, and innovation.
Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
Work with Technology teams to ensure appropriate standards and controls are in place for business continuity and minimal disruptions to trading.
Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in business or finance (MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Advanced certifications in operational strategy, leadership, or financial systems are a plus.
10 years of progressive experience in operations, including significant leadership roles.
Proven ability to manage complex projects, implement corporate strategies, and drive cross-departmental initiatives.

This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the Massachusetts. The pay range for this position is $145,000 - 180,000 USD per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
