Scope of work
Maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing.
- Create and update the daily staffing sheets in ANSOS. Covers daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing. Monitors employee call-in's.
- Responsible for all staffing changes to be placed in ANSOS. Ensure we are staffed to matrix.
- Make phone calls to employees for staffing needs.
- oversees the daily activities of the staffing office. Provides daily assignment to the staffing secretary.
- Enters exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll.
- Assigns contingent/temp staff and outside personnel to units as needed.
- Attends meetings, compiles data for reports, assists Nurse Leaders and Office Supervisor.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Staffing and scheduling experience preferred.
- Scheduling experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system
- A working knowledge of computer software such as ANSOS, Kronos Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Must be able to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
