What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Driving Instructor in Queens position at COREWAY LLC?
Driving School Coreway LLC is hiring a Driving Instructor for our Queens location.
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- NYS driver license valid for at least 2 years
- no suspensions or revocations in the last 2 years and a clean driving record
- high school diploma or equivalency (GED)
- no felony convictions or crimes involving violence, dishonesty, deceit, indecency, degeneracy or moral turpitude
You will provide high-quality driving instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.
- Payment every 2 weeks.
- Part-time or full-time, you decide.
- Flexible schedule: you choose the days and hours for your lessons.
- Intermediate English or higher is required (for passing the written instructor test at the DMV).
We have a steady flow of students in Queens and need reliable instructors right now!
What we offer:

Pay rates (using your own vehicle):
60 minutes - $33
45 minutes - $25
Road Test - $45
90 minutes - $50
Already an instructor? We are actively recruiting current, experienced driving instructors. If you have a valid instructor license and want consistent work in Queens, we would love to hear from you.
New to instructing? Not a problem, you can still join us. You will need to pass both the written (theory) exam and the road (practical) exam at the DMV to become a licensed driving instructor. We will guide you through the whole process.
Duties:
- Conduct driving lessons for students, covering both theory and hands-on skills.
- Teach students traffic laws and safe driving practices in an engaging way.
- Provide constructive feedback that helps students become confident drivers.
