What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Manager position at CoreVest Finance?
The Loan Manager will be responsible for obtaining all required diligence documents from borrower team and coordinating third party vendors and the deal team in connection with each loan. They will work closely with senior management, clients, internal teams and various third parties. The Loan Manager will be the direct point of contact throughout the entire process for the borrower.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Work with legal counsel, title and escrow, deal team and third-party vendors to coordinate the kick-off, checklist and welcome email transmission, diligence document upload, bank account set-up, title review, document preparation and third-party vendor review of diligence documents.
- Manage loan life cycle in pipeline and coordinate and drive communication between deal teams, including underwriting and originations to ensure that diligence documents are uploaded into Salesforce in a timely manner.
- Review and identify documents related to the loan such as bank statements, tax returns, personal financial statements, initial appraisal reports, lease and purchase agreements, etc.
- Facilitate kick-off and check-in calls, as well as prepare and update diligence checklists for deal team.
- Initiate the process of engaging third-party vendors for insurance, title, lease review, and appraisal services.
- Communicate with borrowers, third parties and internal business partners during diligence to facilitate an efficient process from the initial kick off until the closing of the loan.
- Coordinate and review background and credit search, engage the title company by providing initial quotes to borrower team, vet third party title companies, as well as coordinate the set-up of bank accounts related to cash management.
- Coordinate with internal deal teams and external vendors regarding pipeline forecasting.
- Ensure closing packages in Salesforce are complete.
- Additional duties as requested by management.
Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years commercial real estate loan closing and funding experience
- Escrow and title experience are pluses
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Exceptional internal and external customer service
A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role is between $70,000.00 and $85,000.00. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors.
