Quality Control Technician

Quality Control Technician Duties and Responsibilities: Perform dimensional check on product per QC procedure Work with production to correct deficiencies Perform concrete test, generate reports and legible records Perform dimensional checks on product. Perform checks on all raw material components and their location that are placed in the product Work with production employees to correct deficiencies prior to casting Perform post production checks to make sure all product is cast per specs and labeled correctly before it is shipped to jobsite Perform concrete test, generate reports, and create legible documents for all product cast Examine dry finished processes on product for compliance with specifications such as sandblast, water wash, etc. Prepare and distribute deficiency or rejection reports when appropriate Conduct other quality and material tests as required such as rock, sand, etc. Perform concrete cylinder compression test Skills and Knowledge: Good verbal and written skills. Computer literacy (Windows – Word and excel) Ability to maintain good attitude under stressful and changing conditions. Ability to read and comprehend prints and piece tickets Qualifications and Experience: High School Grad with Tech classes a plus Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes ACI and/or PCI certified or capable of becoming Basic print reading and comprehension Physical Requirements: Able to handle stress Able to work long hours when needed Must be able to climb on ladders, forms, and trailers to check set up and product Work Environment: Office environment and outside production areas Work environment is in hot or cold climate Work requires checking product and production beds while climbing on ladders or on trailers Application Process: Please complete the application form to the right or apply in person.
