ABOUT THIS DYNAMIC ROLE
Schedule & Location: This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts. While you'll have a "home base" location as a Front Desk - Medical Office Receptionist, you'll be flexible to cover shifts at our Waterford, Bloomfield Hills, or White Lake offices as needed.
Each day at CoreMed Plus, you'll play a crucial role in creating a positive patient experience. As a Front Desk - Medical Office Receptionist, you'll greet patients with warmth, check them in efficiently, verify insurance, and handle patient inquiries with professionalism. Scheduling appointments and keeping records updated through our EMR system (Athena) will keep you busy, while your collaboration with our medical team helps patients flow smoothly from reception to care. Flexibility is key, as you may work across our locations in Waterford, Bloomfield Hills, and White Lake as needed, always keeping the front desk area organized and welcoming.
What are the must-have qualifications?
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Athena (you may also need to utilize Practice Fusion, Epic, and NextGen EMR for historical medical records)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to assist with medical assistant duties as needed
