We are recruiting on behalf of a luxury resort in Bermuda seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and hands-on culinary leader with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences within a luxury hospitality environment.
The successful candidate will oversee all kitchen operations, driving menu innovation, maintaining the highest culinary standards, and developing a high-performing team while ensuring strong financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day kitchen operations and culinary team management
- Develop seasonal menus, weekly specials, and innovative dining concepts
- Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Oversee food cost control, inventory, purchasing, and kitchen budgets
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary team
- Ensure the highest standards of food safety and kitchen operations
- Collaborate with resort leadership to enhance the overall guest dining experience
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef
- Previous experience within a 5-star hotel or Michelin-recognized operation is required
- Strong butchery skills and menu development experience
- Creative, adaptable, and passionate about culinary innovation
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Previous island experience is considered an advantage
- Candidates must hold a valid USA, Canadian, or UK passport/visa to be considered.
