Location: 5-Star Luxury Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada
Contract: Mid-November – Mid-January (with potential extension through Chinese New Year)
Daily Rate: Head Chef – $800/day | Sous Chef – $600/day
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Cantonese culinary team, including a Head Chef and Sous Chef, to deliver authentic Cantonese cuisine for exclusive guest experiences at a luxury Las Vegas resort. This is a short-term consulting engagement designed to serve VIP guests during peak holiday and Lunar New Year periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead (Head Chef) and support (Sous Chef) in creating and executing Cantonese dishes, including 1st Wok, 1st Cutter, Dim Sum, and Chinese BBQ.
- Oversee and mentor a small culinary team to deliver family-style meals for private villas, suites, and exclusive dining experiences.
- Collaborate with property chefs to develop foundational Asian recipes for buffet and restaurant menus.
- Maintain authenticity, consistency, and excellence in all culinary offerings.
- Adapt to special guest requests and irregular service schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Cantonese cuisine with strong technical skills.
- From Hong Kong or Guangdong province for authentic regional knowledge.
- Prior experience in luxury hotels or high-volume kitchens.
- Leadership and mentoring experience for small culinary teams.
Compensation & Benefits:
