Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Private Utility Locator to support preconstruction and construction operations by identifying and mapping underground utilities. This role plays a critical part in reducing risk, improving planning accuracy, and eventually supporting VDC integration.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform utility locating using EMF, GPR, acoustic tools, and rodders
- Conduct electromagnetic sweeps to identify conductive utilities
- Perform GPR scans for non-conductive utilities
- Trace sewer/storm lines using locatable rodder
- Collect data using RTK equipped EMF Locator
- Mark utilities per APWA standards
- Identify site constraints and conflicts
- Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures
- Required:
- 1–3 years utility locating experience
- Experience with EMF equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred:
- GPR experience
- Mapping experience
- Knowledge of utility systems
