What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler – Fire Protection Skids position at Core Tech Industrial Corp?
Position Summary:
Assembly and fabrication of modular builds utilizing a variety of tools and equipment in accordance with engineered assembly drawings. The position demands a high level of attention to detail, quality focus, and collaboration within cross-functional production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components and equipment using engineered drawings, bills of
materials, and verbal instructions.
- Operate hand and power tools including drills, screw guns, saws, grinders, and punches.
- Perform light fabrication tasks such as cutting, bolting, bending, squaring, leveling, and caulking.
- Complete assemblies in accordance with quality standards & safety procedure.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to spend extended periods standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined
spaces within skid assemblies.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull materials and tools as required for assembly tasks.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to electrical equipment, tools, and machinery.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
