This position will be in the Fire Alarm & Security division reporting directly to our Operations Manager. We are looking for a motivated professional to work with a leading life safety company, providing high-quality inspections, service and installation of fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional).
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning per NFPA standards and local codes.
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions quickly and effectively.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project managers.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and service reports.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in fire alarm installation, service, and inspections.
- NICET Level II or higher certification (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient with major systems such as Notifier, EST, Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, or Siemens.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
