What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician–Fire Alarm & Security Systems position at Stewart's Shops?
Stewart’s Shops is seeking a Maintenance Technician to add to our Alarm and Security Installation Team. Our Facilities Department provides support to our Shops, Rental Properties and District Staff. A company vehicle and tools are provided. This position is based out of our corporate office in Ballston Spa, NY.
Responsibilities:
• Installation of commercial fire and security alarm panels and devices.
• Installation of security cameras.
• Pull Cat V cable in both retrofit and new construction shops.
Requirements:
• Experience with Compliance Engine conducting Commercial Alarm Inspections.
• NYS Fire Alarm License preferred.
• Must be organized, a strong communicator, self-motivated.
• Possess strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to travel to job sites – company vehicle provided.
• Occasional overnight travel and on-call responsibility.
