We are seeking an Experienced highly skilled and motivated Diesel Generator Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing and maintaining diesel-powered generators to ensure optimal performance and reliability at customer locations throughout Upstate New York and Connecticut. This position offers an exciting opportunity utilitze your hands-on skills to deliver exceptional service and support.
Qualifications
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on diesel generators.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with diesel generators and related electrical systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to travel daily to job sites
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls
- Must have some experience with Industrial Generac generators
Duties
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel generators
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Maintain company tools and equipment
- Refuel generators as needed
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
