Field Service Engineer
Travel position - Most of USA and Mexico
Headquarters: New Jersey
Pay: $35 - $40 per hour
Travel domestically and internationally 80% to 90% of the time

Responsibilities
- Commissioning of automated controls for supplied or modified equipment in a timely and professional manner
- Design and execute on site acceptance test procedures with Project Manager and customer
- Create and/or review technical documentation for accuracy with Project Manager
- Provide technical interface between customer and Project Manager in a professional manner
- Remote technical support for customers as assigned in a timely and professional manner
- Interpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings for installation and/or troubleshooting purposes
- Program and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs
- Program and maintain Fanuc Robots and tools
- Handle, burn, and restore EPROM’s and Ghost images
- Develop and maintain an effective professional relationship with customers and/or project personnel
- Communicate commissioning/troubleshooting activities in a daily, weekly, or as requested format to the appropriate personnel in a timely and professional manner
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent Electro-Mechanical skills and High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interpret circuit diagrams, blueprints
- Experience with Siemens S7, Ladder and STL programs, Allen Bradley (all lines)
- Ability to troubleshoot and program
- Remote software handling, basic database functionality
- Heavy lifting/material handling skills
