We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team on a weekend shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sit-down forklifts and will support weekend shipping, receiving, and inventory flow. Duties
- Operate sit-down forklifts to transport products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload deliveries accurately and safely.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed, handling loads up to 50 lbs.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper staging and storage.
- Follow warehouse safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Conduct routine forklift inspections and report mechanical concerns.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and productivity.
- Support weekend operations by preparing shipments and maintaining order flow.
Experience
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to operate sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts on weekends.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and lifting techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus for basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team-based communication.
