Position Description
This is a critical support role focused on troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues with facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform emergency repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical malfunctions.
- Apply strict lockout procedures before performing work on any equipment.
- Maintain fluid levels, change filters, and grease equipment according to PM schedules.
- Promptly repair air, water, or hydraulic leaks.
- Read and interpret all technical prints related to the position.
- Maintain safety devices on all equipment and complete Fork Lift maintenance checklists.
- Identify, look up, and order necessary parts in a timely manner.
- Prioritize repairs based on importance and participate in internal problem-solving activities.
- Utilize the work order system and basic computer operations within a network environment.
Qualification Requirements
- Must have an experience in a plastic injection or molding environment
- An Associate's degree from a technical school
- Proficiency in reading safety rules, operating instructions, and system documentation.
- Ability to perform calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages, and proportions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with associates at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to apply logic to instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to apply torque up to 180 lbs.
- Capacity for moderate to heavy physical movement and exertion.
Salary : $26 - $30
