Business Development Manager (Staffing Industry)
Drive sales growth and build client relationships across light industrial, hospitality, event staffing, and clerical sectors. This role focuses on generating new business, managing client accounts, and delivering staffing solutions that meet revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Present and negotiate customized staffing solutions and contracts
- Maintain client relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Partner with recruiting and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Track sales activity and maintain CRM documentation
- Stay informed on labor market trends and staffing compliance regulations
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in staffing or workforce solutions
- Strong knowledge of light industrial staffing and client relationship management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Bullhorn
- Self-driven and goal-oriented mindset
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of OSHA, EEOC, and FLSA regulations.
