Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all living or guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Execute specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of appliances, fixtures, furniture, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
- Ensure all areas meet safety and sanitation regulations by adhering to proper janitorial and custodial practices.
- Assist with meal preparation or light cooking when required to support residents’ or guests’ needs.
- Manage housekeeping supplies inventory, restocking essentials to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning with a strong understanding of sanitation protocols.
- Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and general custodial duties.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of laundry processes and handling delicate fabrics with care.
