Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead the daily operations of our Odessa-based branch. This pivotal role involves overseeing warehouse management, inventory control, logistics coordination, customer service, and ensuring the branch’s profitability. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the successful candidate will drive operational excellence, foster a safety-conscious team environment, and support business growth within the energy infrastructure, oil & gas, and industrial equipment sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily branch operations, including warehouse activities, logistics, inventory, customer service, and administrative functions.
• Drive profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and process improvements.
• Cultivate relationships with key customers and assist with aftermarket and OEM sales opportunities to support business development.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability while controlling excess stock.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Lead, develop, and mentor warehouse and branch personnel, fostering a culture emphasizing accountability, safety, and teamwork.
• Collaborate with Regional Leadership to implement growth strategies and enhance operational performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Inside Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Product Development, and Production to ensure timely customer support.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs related to safety, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, logistics, and overall branch performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations and customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch objectives.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in warehouse operations, logistics, branch management, or industrial operations.
• Proven experience managing warehouse personnel, inventory, and logistics within an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and supply chain practices.
• Financial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage budgets and operational metrics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/CRM software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment while leading cross-functional teams.
• Preferred experience within the oil & gas, energy infrastructure, gas compression, or industrial equipment sectors.
• Knowledge of compressors, reciprocating engines, silencers, catalysts, or emissions reduction systems is a plus.
• Prior experience as a General Manager or Branch Manager is desirable.
