Position Overview
The Regional Quality Manager serves as the primary authority for all quality-related matters within the region. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality processes, managing audits, overseeing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This individual will lead quality efforts across systems and operations, manage regional quality resources, and proactively identify risks to ensure high standards, reliability, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive quality standards, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives across regional operations
- Assess risks within processes, testing, and release management; intervene and escalate as needed to prevent failures
- Lead and develop regional quality personnel to ensure high performance and successful execution of key initiatives
- Conduct regular process audits and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost of quality, and close gaps
- Oversee root cause analysis for process failures and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Manage CAPA processes, ensuring proper documentation, ownership, and resolution
- Address customer concerns and ensure timely delivery of non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Communicate risks, trends, and lessons learned through regular updates, quality alerts, and team meetings
- Lead internal and external audits (including customer and certification audits) and ensure successful outcomes
Qualifications
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification required
- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma or similar)
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., API standards, integrity management frameworks) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably within industrial or energy-related sectors
- Proven experience conducting and leading quality audits
- Experience within inspection services, engineering services, or infrastructure-related industries is preferred
