Project Specialist Job Responsibilities
- Support onsite inventory projects including assembly of shelving, organizing stock, and applying product/location labels
- Accurately count, record, and organize inventory using digital tools such as tablets, phones, and spreadsheets
- Capture and upload images and documents using mobile devices for inventory documentation
- Professionally communicate with project managers, site teams, and leadership to ensure alignment on goals and tasks
- Coordinate personal travel logistics in alignment with project timelines and team travel plans
- Submit daily work reports and weekly invoicing within required timeframes
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to respectful workplace conduct
- Ensure 100% project scope completion before site departure
- Follow all company and client safety requirements, including PPE usage and OSHA guidelines
- Actively contribute to a positive, no-bullying team culture with openness to coaching and feedback
- 0–2 years of experience in inventory, warehousing, MRO environments, or related hands-on roles
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites nationwide (must live within 30–45 minutes of a major airport)
- Basic proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Excel and Word
- Comfortable using tablets/phones for documentation and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely assemble material handling equipment (e.g., racks, cabinets)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate closely with diverse teams
